In his fourth season with the WoO, Sam finished 11th in the standings, tying a career-high that he set in 2008.
Prior to running with the WoO, Sam raced in the 360 class, garnering Rookie of the Year honors with the ASCS-Gulf South region in 2003 and the ASCS-Sooner region championship in 2006. Sam placed in the top ten in ASCS National points three times (2004 - 10th, 2005 - 3rd, 2006 - 9th). Sam picked up his first 410 win in 2008 with the All Stars at the North Florida Speedway, and added another in 2009 with the IRA.
