4/25/2024 - (From Knoxville Raceway) As some of you know we have added over two hundred loads of dirt to the track this year. The track crew would like another open track session this week to get a little more information on how it is reacting to laps on it.. The track will open at 3:00 pm next Thursday April 25th , practice will start at 7:00 and close at 9:00. This track practice is open to all 410 and 360 teams. There is no guaranteed number of laps per session or in total. We will have fire and rescue on hand along with push trucks.

4/19/2024 - Practice Night Sees 53 Cars! by Bill Wright KNOXVILLE, Iowa (April 15, 2023) – Fifty-three cars participated in Friday’s practice at the Knoxville Raceway. The quickest lap of the night unofficially went to Kelby Watt at 14.986 seconds on the half-mile in the 410’s. Jamie Ball unofficially led the 360’s with a lap of 15.780 seconds. 4/19/2024 - Knoxville Raceway Season Opener Canceled; Friday Practice On by Bill Wright Knoxville, IA, April 19, 2024 – Due to cold temperatures, the Pella Motors / Kraig Ford Season Opener scheduled for Knoxville Raceway on Saturday, April 20 has been canceled. Scheduled practice for Friday, April 19 will commence, with the pit gate opening at 3 p.m. and practice scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Join us next weekend for the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash featuring the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws sprint cars April 26 and 27. On Friday, April 26, the Pro Sprints will also be competing, and Saturday, April 27 the 360 sprint class will be on the card.

4/1/2024 - (From Racing Promotion Monthly) Knoxville, Iowa's John McCoy, who promotes the legendary Knoxville Speedway was named the 48th Annual Auto Racing Promoter of the Year (ARPY) at the 51st Annual RPM@Daytona Workshops at the Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida on February 13, 2024. McCoy represents Region Five (Midwest / Great Plains Region as part of the RPM balloting). McCoy, who has been a regional winner in the past, follows in the footsteps of Ralph Capitani, who was named the 26th Annual ARPY in 2001 after guiding Knoxville through 34 seasons.
