15 Track Championships Represented by Saturday Visitors!

(Bill W) Three former track champions representing fifteen track championships are expected to compete Saturday at Knoxville. Eight-time track champion Danny Lasoski is expected to compete with the World of Outlaws on Thursday and Friday at Williams Grove Speedway in Pennsylvania in Lonnie Parsons #6, and then fly to Iowa to compete at Knoxville in his own #33 on Saturday.

Six-time track champ Terry McCarl also has Knoxville in his sights, and 2005 track champion Kerry Madsen is also rumored to be competing this weekend.

The former champs will have their work cut out for them with the regular Saturday night competitors and some others who have also expressed their intentions on competing at Knoxville. Wayne Johnson will be returning in the #14AJ, and "The Steel City Outlaw" Tim Shaffer and "Hurricane" Randy Hannagan are other drivers rumored to be mulling over the Knoxville trip.

Johnny Herrera the 1995 track champion won last week's feature event, and he will be joined by 2007 champ Brian Brown, 2006 champ Billy Alley, and two-time track champion Skip Jackson in defending the home turf!
