KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 21, 2009) - The first official
United States Auto Club (USAC) entries for the inaugural $5,000-to-win
Casey's General Stores Non-Winged Knoxville Nationals, to be held on Sunday,
August 9, at the Knoxville Raceway, include USAC National Sprint Series
point leader Levi Jones of Olney, Illinois, and Knoxville Championship Cup
Series point leader Johnny Herrera of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Joining Jones and Herrera in the first batch of paid entries received in the
USAC office were Jones' Tony Stewart Racing teammate Tracy Hines of Indiana,
young Chad Boat of Arizona, and Mike Moore of Iowa. Chad Boat is the son of
1982 Arizona Sprint Car Association "Rookie of the Year" and seven-time
Indianapolis 500 starter Billy Boat. The Casey's Non-Winged Knoxville
Nationals feature race will start 26 cars and be contested over 26 laps on
the half-mile dirt oval in the "Sprint Car Capital of the World".

The USAC National Sprint Car Series will compete in three
events at three different tracks during the upcoming Cox Design & Metal
Fabrication Iowa SpeedWeeks, with all three events sponsored by Casey's
General Stores. The first event will take place on the pavement on Friday,
July 31, at the Iowa Speedway in Newton, with the Southern Iowa Speedway
dirt track in Oskaloosa hosting the third event on Tuesday, August 11. The
middle event will be Knoxville's inaugural Non-Winged National Championship
show on Sunday, August 9, which also falls between its '360' Nationals on
August 6-7-8 and its '410' Nationals on August 12-13-14-15. Osky will also
host a winged '410' show on Monday, August 10, making the Cox Design Iowa
SpeedWeeks the biggest in history.
