50 Laps for the 50th Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil
Knoxville, Iowa – The votes are in and the poll has been tallied. Fifty laps is the clear winner with 62% of the total votes for the 50th Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil. Thirty laps received 34% while forty came in a distant third with just 4% of the votes.
“The 50th Knoxville Nationals is a milestone and we wanted to make sure we got it right.” Stated Race Director Ralph Capitani. “Our fan satisfaction is one of our highest priorities, and we feel it is critical to include their collective desires in our decision making.”
The 50th Knoxville Nationals is a four day cultural festival that ends each night with some of the most exciting motorsports racing in the world. Parades, exposition, fan fairs, live music, camping and fun is just some of the action you will see. Over 100 drivers from around the world will compete for a $1,000,000 purse and the prestigious title of Knoxville National Champion.
