Season Opener May 1 includes Car Show, Live Music!
The season opener slated for May 1 at Knoxville Raceway includes a day of
fun and activities for all. Starting at 10:00 am the Draggins Car Club is
hosting their 2nd Annual Car Show at Knoxville Raceway. Rat Rods, Street
Rods, Muscle Cars, Customs and Restored Vehicles are all slated to compete
for some of the most unique trophies and awards imaginable. For more

At 4:00 pm live music is on tap just before the gates open. Jr. Fan Club
sign up (free for kids ages 5-12) will see hundreds of kids get their free
t-shirt and chances at other great prizes. Go to the Knoxville Raceway
ticket office in person and buy your ticket on Friday for a $3 discount on
adult tickets.
Mediacom Shootout World of Outlaws June 3-5
The beginning of June will bring a wild 3 days of fun and action to
Knoxville Raceway. Thursday, June 3rd the World of Outlaws will invade
Knoxville to try and kick start their Knoxville run. As a warm up to the
50th Annual Goodyear Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil this 3 day
event will be the only time the WoO drivers will have a chance to tune up
for the Nationals. This weekend is also the Nationals Sprint Car Hall of
Fame Induction weekend. Sprint car legends will descend for the 3 days of
racing, fun and excitement. Tickets are available on line at

New Official Knoxville Race Gear for 2010 Season
New for the 2010 racing season, a fresh line of official race gear is now
available - T-shirts, caps, sweatshirts and more - for men, women and race
fans of all ages created by The Identity Group in Pella. "We are excited

said Brian Stickel, Director of Marketing at the Knoxville Raceway. "With

Not sure what to get your race fan? Gift certificates for race gear in

Official race gear will be available at the Knoxville raceway during every
race event. Look for the new white building at the main entrance across from
the ticket booth, and at the shop under the grandstand.

The 2010 Knoxville Raceway Fantasy League starts May 8!!
Knoxville, Iowa - The 2010 Free Knoxville Raceway Fantasy League by Fantasy
Dirt Racing is back and ready for another exciting year. The Knoxville
Raceway Fantasy League allows fans another avenue to cheer on their favorite
drivers.
2009 was the inaugural year for the fantasy league and out of 250 teams team
MRI took home the grand prize of Passes to this year's 50th Goodyear
Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil! Two other teams also won tickets
to Knoxville Raceway Events including the Late Model Nationals.
This year's fantasy schedule will include 14 races starting on May 8th and
ending on September 4th. Registration is free and simple; fantasy league
players will pick 4 Drivers during registration. These drivers will be the
core of your team. Each month you will then pick a 5th "Wild Card" Driver
from a pool of drivers at Knoxville Raceway.
Knoxville Fantasy League Team's will be scored based on your drivers A Main
Feature finish. Team's should be chosen carefully because the "Wild Card"
Driver will be the most valuable Driver and will earn double points but is
not allowed be already be part of your roster.
2010 registration will remain free and the winner of the league will receive
a set of 2010 Knoxville Late Model Nationals Tickets, Second Place will take
home a Knoxville Raceway Shirt, Cap, and a Raceopoly Board game, Third Place
will receive a Knoxville Raceopoly Board game. For more details and to
