There is a “whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on” here at www.knoxvilleraceway.com. Check out our photo galleries. Plenty of new photos have been added, including 99 of Dave Hill’s best from 2004. There is more to come as we’ll be adding galleries for photographers Doug Johnson and Dennis Krieger in the near future. Keep studying those history photos as we want a caption under each one that includes who is in them, and what year the photo was taken.

I’ve had a sneak preview of what our “Drivers” section will look like, and it’s going to be awesome. In addition to the points standings, each Knoxville regular will be profiled in depth with photos included. I’m still working hard on collecting driver bio profiles, so if you are a driver and haven’t received one, shoot me an e-mail at editor@knoxvilleraceway.com.

Check out our “Events” section on the right-hand side of the home page. We are working on this section on an ongoing basis. In addition to a synopsis of the event, you will be able to find pre-entry forms, lists of pre-entries for each event, “happenings” surrounding the event, purses, formats, and historical data. Look for the midget nationals and Masters Classic to be added in the next week.

Our “Links” page, and our “Sponsors” page are also gaining strength. Please support the sponsors of Knoxville Raceway who make this all possible. Check out our “SCH/TKTS” section for the latest schedule and ticket information. As always, visit our “Hospitality” section to find places to stay during your visit to Knoxville Raceway. We will be happy to answer your questions, as well. Our “Contacts” page, should give you the information you need to contact us. I hope you will continue to enjoy the progress we’re making with the page. We’re having fun!

I have to send out hearty congratulations to our own Carnahan R19 team. With Jason Solwold driving, they defeated the best in the business by taking the $10,000 All Star feature last Saturday night at Volusia Speedway in Florida. They are making an early statement for this year’s Knoxville 410 crown, and made every A main run in two weeks down there.

Six-time champ Terry McCarl also picked up a win, copping the All Star opener on February 8. Terry had some successes, but struggled with a water pump in World of Outlaw competition. We wish him nothing but the best in his quest for the WoO crown. Others getting some early Florida action were Jesse Giannetto, Bronson Maeschen, Wayne Johnson, Josh Higday and Johnny Anderson.

Both classes look stout and the competition will be as fierce as ever come April. We will keep you posted on the latest information right here at knoxvilleraceway.com!
