Knoxville Rains Out Saturday WoO Classic

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (June 5) The World of Outlaws/Mediacom Hall of Fame Classic finally fell to wet track conditions at 8:55 Iowa time. A line of showers moved through the fairgrounds at the 6:30 hour forcing a long delay. Track officials cited water running from the top of the track and and wet infield conditions as two major considerations for safety.
The Nationals Sprint Car Hall of Fame staged its twenty-first induction banquet on the fairgrounds during Saturday afternoon. Inductees this year include Bobbie Adamson, Hank Arnold, Fred Linder, Frank Riddle, Hal Robson, Herman Schurch, Clyde Adams, Casey Luna, Don Shepherd, George Bentel, Fred Brownfield and Ben Krasner.
