Double Duty

Nate pulls double duty tonight in the 305 and 360 class. After the 305 hot laps/time trials, Nate came in with 7th quick at 17.763. This earns Nate the front row outside of the 2nd heat. Getting set for the heat race, the 305 engine starts backfire forcing Nate to pull in, not wanting to run the risk of causing any further damage. The engine problem was not able to be fixed at the track. Nate scratches from the A Main.
In Nates 360 hot laps/time trials, Nate gets 17th quick with 16.866. Nate receives the pole position in the 2nd heat race. Nate pulls away from the rest of the cars on the start and finishes first in the heat. This gets Nate the 7th row inside of a 20 lap A Main. On the first lap, the #53 car of Joe Beaver and Nate were battling for the bottom line into turn 1. That resulted in Nate catching the inside berm turning his car around causing a caution. Nate has to tag the tail of the complete restart. After 6 more cautions, Nate had worked his way up to 8th but by the time the race expired, Nate had fallen back for a finish of 12th.
