John Hall Racing continues to progress

Sunday, July 8, 2012
MARION, IOWA (July 8, 2012)—John Hall and his Left Turn Enterprises Racing
Team returned to action at the Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday, July 7.

Mechanical issues have continued to plague the team, but each week of racing brings new information to work with. This week, Hall started the night with a time-trial lap of 17.371. As he was stuck behind a slower car in his flight of group time trials, this was only good enough for 25th of the night's 26 competitors in the 360 division. That put him on the back of his heat race to start and he finished seventh of the nine entrants. He then started at the back of the night's A-Main and raced to a 21st place finish.

This marks Hall's 25th anniversary season of racing at the Sprint Car Capitol of the World in Knoxville, where he earned the Rookie of the Year title in the 360 division in 1988. Hall runs a Maxim Chassis with Parker Engines. The car is owned by Charles and Doris Hall.
