Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam Comes to Knoxville Raceway!

For the first time ever, Knoxville Raceway will host Monster Jam. This family-fun event has been a long sought after outing for many local families, and now it is in their back yard, and at an enticing price! Twelve-foot tall, ten-thousand pound monster trucks will rip up a custom-designed track full of obstacles here at our own Knoxville Raceway this weekend.

This Friday and Saturday, September 20th and 21st, fans can trek to Knoxville Raceway to see their favorite trucks; Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, King Crunch and more. The venue will set up 20 cars along the front stretch and push off lane to offer fans a front row seat to metal wrenching, truck racing, and car crushing excitement.

In addition to the Monster Trucks, there will be a King Quad Battle of the States between Iowa and Nebraska professional quad racers.

Ticket prices are nearly half of the venue cost of the Des Moines shows, making this a great opportunity for families to experience the excitement of these great trucks. With tickets at just $15 for adults, and $9 for kids, you can’t beat the cost. If purchased by Thursday, a $5/$3 off coupon can be applied to pre-sales of tickets.

In addition to Knoxville Raceway’s offering of race day concessions, Monster Jam will be bringing their cotton candy and snow cones concessions. Both Knoxville Raceway and Monster Jam will also have souvenir booths available offering up your favorite Knoxville Raceway apparel as well as favorite Monster Jam truck souvenirs.

Fans have a unique opportunity at Knoxville Raceway to attend a pre-event party (5-6:30) in the pits with a $10 ticket upgrade for the Saturday night show only. The upgrade will allow you to wander through the pits to get an up close look at pre show preparations and get pictures with your favorite truck. The pits will also be open after the show for general ticket holders.

Gates are open this Friday and Saturday at 6:30, show starts at 7:30. Fans can expect about 2 hours of car crunching and Monster Jam trickery. With this being the next to last event at Knoxville Raceway for the 2013 season, we hope to see a great crowd!

Knoxville’s concluding event of the 2013 season will be the Lucas Oil Late Model Nationals, featuring World of Outlaw drivers and late model drivers from all over the country. This event is one of the most anticipated late model races in the country. Top drivers such as Scott Bloomquist, Billy Moyer, Josh Richards and Darrel Lanigan, to name just a few, will be vying for the title of Late Model Champion. Tickets are $85.00 for a three-day general admission pass, or $98.00 for reserved.
