91 Drivers Invited to Brodix Tournament of Champions

Ninety-one (91) of the best winged 360-cubic-inch sprint car drivers in Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United States have been officially invited to the seventh Brodix Tournament of Champions, August 7, at the Knoxville Raceway. The drivers represent a record nineteen (19) sanctions and all will compete under one common set of technical rules, which includes the use of the American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Brodix spec head.
Those sanctions sending teams to Knoxville for the $5,000-to-win Sunday night event are ASCS, ASCS Gulf South Region, ASCS Midwest Region, ASCS Rocky Mountain Region, ASCS Sooner Region, Eagle Sprint Touring Series (ESTS), Empire Super Sprints (ESS), Knoxville Raceway, National Championship Racing Association (NCRA), National Racing Alliance (NRA), Northern Sprint Tour (NST), Patriot Sprint Group (PSG), Southern Ontario Sprints (SOS), Sprintcar Council of Australia (SCCA), Sprint Invaders Association (SIA), Sprints On Dirt (SOD), United Racing Club (URC), Winged Outlaw Warriors (WOW) and WISSOTA Promoters Association.
ASCS Southern Region and Montana Sprint Tour (MST) will not send representatives this year. All drivers were required to meet strict entry and eligibility rules, which rewarded loyalty to the twenty-one participating sanctions. Those entered drivers not invited due to eligibility issues (i.e. - not having competed in minimum number of sanctioned races) are A.G. Rains, Ricky Stenhouse (Jr.), Scott Winters, Eric Jobe, Jack Pillon, Manny Rockhold, Chris Parkinson, Shane Spurlock and Dustin Lindquist.
