Friday, November 15, 2013
An evening with Knoxville Track Historians, Bob Wilson & Eric Arnold, is set as the next program in the National Sprint Car Museum’s Sprint Car 101 Third Thursday Series and it will take place on Thursday night, November 21. The free and open-to-the-public presentation will take place on the second floor of the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum at 7 p.m. It will feature the two authors of the new sprint car racing book, “Knoxville Nationals: The First Fifty Years.”

According to museum executive director Bob Baker today, “I am looking forward to interviewing both Bob Wilson and Eric Arnold on their long-awaited book on the history of the Knoxville Super-Modified/Sprint Car National Championships, 1961-2010. It has been a good-seller for our museum store since its debut shortly before this year’s Knoxville Nationals. Please join us for a fun and relaxing night talking Nationals history.”
