Jesse Hockett Takes Lead in Cox Fabrication Southern Iowa SprintWeek Points after Ultimate Challenge

Missouri’s Jesse Hockett of Warsaw has taken over the lead in the fourth annual Cox Design & Metal Fabrication Southern Iowa SprintWeek title after Tuesday’s Sprint Bandits-sanctioned Ultimate Challenge night number six at the Southern Iowa Speedway. Hockett has 207 points after the first six of ten straight nights of sprint car racing between the Knoxville and Oskaloosa dirt tracks. Levi Jones of Olney, Illinois, won $30,000 at the Ultimate Challenge last night at Osky. 213 different drivers have scored points heading into Wednesday night’s Knoxville Nationals preliminary night, presented by the Midwest Ford Dealers, at the Knoxville Raceway. The "Mr. Sprint Car" title is worth $2,500 to the champion and $1,000 to the runner-up.
