Kevin Swindell Wins the World of Outlaws iRacing Invitational on FOX Sports 1

Knoxville, IA - Although the 2020 racing season has been delayed, the racing community was treated to a virtual race night at Knoxville Raceway thanks to the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and iRacing.
The virtual race night was aired live across the country on FOX Sports 1 with hosts Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer, Adam Alexander and Johnny Gibson providing the commentary. .
Kevin Swindell picked up the win and the $1,000 prize in the NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series race. Twenty other drivers from sprint car racing, drag racing, NASCAR and F1, competed in the 35-lap virtual event.
Brian Brown, the current Knoxville Raceway track champion started on the pole, but Pennsylvania's Robbie Kendall beat him to the line to lead lap one. Kendall led until lap 17 when Swindell and NASCAR's Kyle Larson were able to get by. Swindell and Larson battled for the lead for several laps before Larson made contact with the Turn 1 fence.
Swindell was able to pull away on lap 28 and pick up the win by more than two seconds. NASCAR's Christopher Bell finished second with 2018 Knoxville Raceway track champion Austin McCarl finishing third.
Corey Gordon won the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series iRacing Invitational race at virtual Knoxville Raceway, also on FOX Sports 1. Gordon dominated the event, leading all 40 laps, with Nick Stroupe and Kaeden Cornell rounding out the top three.
