Knoxville, Iowa by Bruce Neimeth – The two-day 15th Annual “360” Nationals at Knoxville Raceway, Thursday and Friday, August 4th and 5th, will kick off 10 straight days of Sprint Car “madness” in Southern Iowa.

John Deere Buck ATVs and Steenhoek Implement Co, Knoxville, Iowa are sponsoring the Thursday Preliminaries to showcase the new line of John Deere ATVs including the Buck EXT. According to Karen Owen, Director of Marketing and Sales for Knoxville Raceway, “Besides the check, John Deere Trophy, Hat and Jacket, the Preliminary Feature winner will find out what “Nothing Runs Like a Deere” means with a spin around the Knoxville Raceway on a “Deere” waving to the crowd and the Speed Channel fans at home. And the team will get to use a “Deere” for the rest of the weekend at Knoxville as they compete in the Friday “360” Finals, Saturday regular “360” show and the Sunday Brodix Tournament of Champions”.

Karen went on to say, “Speed Channel will air the 2-day event on the following Thursday night, August 11th. The show will cover all of the Friday night action as well as highlights of Thursday night’s preliminary events”.

While in Knoxville and Southern Iowa for the 10-days of Sprint Car “madness” fans and teams will be able to look over the complete line of 2005 John Deere ATVs at the Fan & Trade Show on the grounds of the Knoxville Raceway. Just 5 minutes south right on Hwy 14 is a chance to see the entire line of John Deere products at Steenhoek Implement Company.

The 15th Annual “360” Nationals will feature top Sprint Car drivers and teams from across the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand as they race for the $80,000 purse. This year the entries will include many drivers and teams in town for the 4-day 45th Annual Knoxville Nationals presented by the Midwest Ford Dealers that closes out the 10 days of “madness”.

The “360” Nationals will provide an opportunity to get “comfortable” with the historic half-mile, take a shot at the $10,000 winners share and add more TV exposure before they tackle the 4-day $800,000 Knoxville Nationals Wednesday through Saturday, August 10-13. The Saturday, August 13th "A" Main pays $140,000-to-win and will be broadcast live on Speed Channel from 8 to Midnight CDT.
