At the end of Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway sprintcar summer, Trevor Green will be continuing his association with car owner Barry Lewis, with the pair teaming up to contest the Knoxville track championship.

After this weekend’s Outlaws Downunder IIII, the #11 Lewis/Green Cool sprintcar will be shipped off to New Zealand for the Outlaws meeting held next weekend. From there the machine will not be returning to Australia but instead the car will then be transported to the USA for Green to use at Knoxville. The familiar Eagle race car that Trevor Green used successfully earlier this season will be bought out to race in the Australian Sprintcar Title in Brisbane. With Trevor now leading the TPCR sprintcar track championship, Barry Lewis has purchased another brand new Cool chassis so Trevor can complete in the remaining sprintcar races at Parramatta.

The Lewis/Green combo has certainly been very successful racing at the Tyrepower Parramatta City Raceway and it’s hoped that the success will transfer to the full American summer racing at the Knoxville venue.

It must be remembered that it was Barry Lewis who first took Skip Jackson and Pete Murphy to the States, so he does know how to win in both Australia and the USA.

Green said “I’m really looking forward, its now the time to do it. If I don’t go to the USA now I’m never going to do it. To continue improving, this is the next step.”

The Lewis/Green team couldn’t race without the help and support of Adrad Radiators, Australia Wide Towing, Green Welding, Maxwill Racing Engines, Max Wheels and AD AIR.
