46th Annual Knoxville Nationals Purse Raised to $894,515

by Bill Wright - The 46th Annual Knoxville Nationals presented by Midwest Ford Dealers will have its purse raised to the tune of $79,865. $894,515 will be doled out over the four day event August 9-12.
The purse has been distributed down through the field on all four nights. On qualifying nights, it will now pay $1,000 to start the feature, while the B will pay $200 to start. Friday's non-qualifiers feature will pay at least $1,000 back through 11th and pay $500 to start.
The winner of the 46th Annual Knoxville Nationals will still receive $140,000, but all positions have been raised generously from 7th in the A on back through the E Main. The main event will now pay $7,000 to start.
