1991 Season and Other Updates Keep Comin'!

Well our site is being updated on a daily basis. If you've been in hibernation this winter, check out our redesigned "History" section where you can find stats, records, Hall of Famers and much more. Driver bios are updated on a regular basis with the latest being Knoxville rookies Trevor Green (410) and Rick Ideus (pictured) (360). Go to our "Drivers" section to keep up to date with the "weekly warriors" of the Knoxville Raceway. Keep up to date on our pre-entries in our "Events" sections on the right-hand side of the homepage.
In our "Results" section, follow the "Previous History Results" link to find detailed results all the way back to 1991. Randy Smith bested Jeff Tuttle in the points race, though the drivers only had two feature wins between them. Dominating local competition that year were visitors Doug Wolfgang (5 feature wins), Steve Kinser (4) and Jac Haudenschild (4). Steve Kinser took the 31st Annual Knoxville Nationals, while Haudenschild swept twin features night. Richard Griffin swept a two-night CRA show on their Midwest swing.
Dwight Snodgrass took the 360 championship with two feature wins, holding off David Hesmer and his six victories. Hesmer won the first 360 Nationals in August, and the two split wins on Twin Features Night. Read all about it! We continue our results march back to 1954!
