Knoxville Raceway Banquet and Awards Updated

Knoxville, Iowa - Over 550 racers, family, fans and officials attended the annual Knoxville Raceway Awards Banquet on November 20, 2004. More than $300,000 in points monies and contingency awards were given out during the ceremonies.
Knoxville Raceway track announcers Tony Bokhoven and Mike Roberts emceed the program. Track videographer Kris Krohn made two video presentations, one covering season highlights and the other showing footage of the top five drivers in each division. Track champions Terry McCarl (410) and Jake Peters (360) received $20,000 and $8,000 respectively for their efforts during the 2004 season.
The Knoxville Racing Charities Organization gave away a new helmet and driving gloves to the sixty drivers who were eligible for the season point funds program. Drivers selected their own preference of brand and style.
