KNOXVILLE, Iowa - August 6 - Gary Wright of Hooks, Texas captured the 8th annual Brodix Tournament of Champions at Knoxville Raceway Sunday night besting a stellar field of 65 entrants from across America. The win paid the Lone Star State native $5,000. The apparent winner, Chuck Swenson of Watertown, South Dakota was penalized and scored last after being found to have illegal heads in post-race inspections.
