Jason Johnson wins Thursday night Nationals qualifier

Louisiana's "Cajun Sensation" Jason Johnson took the $12,000 win on the second
qualifying night of the 46th annual Knoxville Nationals, presented by Super
Clean, Midwest Ford Dealers and Weld Racing. The race was contested on
Thursday, August 10.
Starting fourth on the grid for the 25-lap main event, Johnson followed
polesitter Brian Paulus through the first several laps before he ran away and
