1988 Results Plus New Photos Added

Randy Smith topped the 410 class with five feature wins and a track title, driving the Trostle & Durst #20. He was able to best Danny Lasoski and Jeff Tuttle in the season long race. In one of the most thrilling Knoxville Nationals in history, Steve Kinser took his sixth trip to victory lane besting Bobby Davis Jr. and Dave Blaney.
David Hesmer, a rookie in the Limited Sprint (360) class, did the unthinkable by taking the track title on the strength of five wins. His first title came over Dwight Snodgrass and Mike Twedt.
