Tony Stewart & Ken Schrader enter Knoxville Late Model Nationals

NASCAR stars Tony Stewart and Ken Schrader have entered the 3rd Annual Lucas Oil Knoxville Late Model Nationals, September 28, 29 & 30. They will qualify Thursday night, September 28, and race again on Saturday, September 30 in the 100 lap Feature. They will take on the best late model drivers across the USA and Canada, including Shannon Babb, Brian Birkhofer, Scott Bloomquist, Rick Eckert, Steve Francis, Justin Fegers, Chub Frank, Jimmy Mars, Donnie Moran, Billy Moyer, Darren Miller, Josh Richards, Brian Shirley, Brady Smith and G.R. Smith. The field has over 2100 Feature wins and over 29 series championships.

The field also has victories in just about every major late model event including the World 100, UMP Summer Nationals, Dream, Dirt Track World Championship, Lucas Oil Late Model Knoxville Nationals and USA Nationals. Tony will be driving the Bass Pro Shops, Tracker Boats, Rocket Chassis #20 entered by Mark Richards Racing, Inc.. Ken Schrader will drive the Red Baron Pizza, Petroff Towing, J&J Steel, Hawkeye Truck Sales, Rayburn Chassis #99 entered by Ken Schrader Racing, Inc. Both drivers will also be competing at Kansas Speedway that weekend at the NASCAR Nextel Cup race.

Each Late Model Nationals qualifying night includes time trials, heats and feature events with $6,000 going to the "A" Feature winner out of a total event purse of $220,000.
