Knoxville Raceway Schedules World of Outlaws Doubleheader in June

The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will compete at Knoxville Raceway on Friday, June 15th, while the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competes on Saturday, June 16th, 2007. While most of today’s World of Outlaws Late Model drivers have competed at Knoxville over the years, this will be the first national points race for the new series.

Among the current World of Outlaws Late Model Series drivers, there have been five feature wins – Billy Moyer in ’85, ’88 and twice in 2000, and Rick Eckert in 2005. With the return of Steve Kinser and Danny Lasoski to the 2007 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, the scheduled drivers for both the April 28th and June 16th events will represent over 100 feature wins at Knoxville Raceway.

The WoO Late Model event will include the 305 Sprint Cars on Friday night, while the WoO Sprint event will include 360 Sprint Cars on Saturday night. Reserved seats for both World of Outlaws Sprint Car event will be available on January 15th, 2007 online at www.knoxvilleraceway.com, by calling (641) 842-5431 or visiting the Knoxville Raceway Ticket Office during regular business hours – M-F 9am to 5pm – Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
