Mike Kiser Claims Museum's Raffle (Sprint) Car

2005 Central New York Mini Sprints (CNYMS) champion Mike Kiser of Cooperstown, New York, is the lucky grand prize winner of the National Sprint Car Museum's "Get Your Racing Kicks With #6" sprint car raffle. The ‘06 CNYMS runner-up will receive a new state-of-the-art Maxim chassis with a new Paul Kistler 410-cubic-inch MOPAR racing engine. When contacted by museum marketing director Craig Agan, Kiser was thrilled about having the museum’s immediate past president, Steve Agan of Knoxville, draw his ticket as the non-profit foundation's sixth sprint car raffle winner. Mike said he bought six tickets for the raffle after reading an article about it in Sprint Car & Midget magazine.
Additional prize winners include Steve Luport of California, Raphael Slominski of North Dakota, Frank Spencer of Kansas, American Storage of Florida, Charles Anderson of Pennsylvania, Lloyd Armey of Washington, Jared Allison of Florida, Dean Ryan of Indiana, Richard Cockrell of Florida, and Greg Stewart of Illinois. They will receive the additional prizes that had been generously donated by Speedway Motors/ Hothead Engine Heaters, Cory Kruseman’s Sprint Car Driving School, Simpson, CTS Aluminum Race Jacks, Kwik Check Wheel Balancers, Dee Zee Truck Accessories, Beard Welding and Bonzai Products. Kris Krohn videotaped the drawing for possible downloading to the www.sprintcarhof.com web site.
According to Craig Agan, "We can't thank Chuck Merrill of Maxim Chassis, Paul Kistler of Kistler Engines, and Kevin Miller of MOPAR enough for all of their support, in addition to the many product builders/manufacturers like Sander Engineering, Engler Machine and Tool, Winters Performance Products, KSE Racing Products, Bryant Crankshafts, Carillo Rods and Barnes Oil Systems. These companies and all the rest of the product donors continue to step up to the plate in a big way for our museum foundation. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of the raffle ticket-buyers and our own board of directors, staff and volunteers for making the tickets available to the general public.
