2007 Knoxville Nationals Queen Contest

Thursday, April 5, 2007
Knoxville, Iowa – Knoxville Raceway and the history of the Knoxville Nationals have many endearing and heartwarming tales, but few match the suspense and drama that the twenty-five 2007 Queen Candidates will feel on August 7th.

The 47th Annual Super Clean Knoxville Nationals will crown the Queen and her court at a public reception on Tuesday, August 7th at the historic Knoxville Raceway. Earlier in the day each candidate will be interviewed and evaluated by a slate of very qualified judges.

“The Knoxville Nationals Queen has a very special role here in Knoxville.” Stated Christi Woodruff, Queen Coordinator, “She becomes a representative of the Knoxville Nationals and the history it represents.”

Entry forms are currently available on line at www.knoxvilleraceway.com or by calling (641)842-5431. Queen candidates need to complete the form and submit it with a color photo and a one page synopsis on why they should be the 2007 Knoxville Nationals Queen.

During the week of the Knoxville Nationals the Queen and her court have various functions related to the races. From press conferences to awards ceremonies, the Queens are busy throughout the week.
