THE WEATHER LOOKS ABSOLUTLY PERFECT for both Friday and Saturday nights.
FRIDAY will be an open practice from 7-9pm. The 360 and 410 Sprint regulars will be getting their first chance to test the new tire rules designed to put the driver's "back in the driver's seat" by loosening the cars up. At the same time it should reduce costs for the teams. Can you imagine improving on the already exciting side-by-side racing down into turn 1? Does this mean even more slide jobs? The practice is open to the new 305 Sprints, Late Models and Modfieds that will be competing later in the season. Seats are available at NO CHARGE.
SATURDAY will introduce the Knoxville Championship Cup Series with event #1 of 17 weekly points races for the 360 and 410 Sprint Car 2007 Season Championships. With over $29,000 on the line night, we expect over 65 total cars each night as drivers try to add their names the list of past champions including Danny Lasoski, Terry McCarl, Kerry Madsen, Skip Jackson, Jake Peters and Billy Alley. Action will start about 6:45 each night. ADULTS are $12.00, CHILDREN 14 and under are $3.00.
