The World of Outlaws Late Model Series visits Friday for a 50-Lap, $10K to win points race that will also be the last chance for drivers and teams to take to the fast ½ mile before the $220,000 Knoxville Late Model Nationals in Late September. Clint Smith, Shannon Babb, Steve Frances, Chub Frank and Josh Richards, the top five in WoO points, will be joined by past Nationals Champions Brian Shirley and Brian Birkhofer. The 305 Winged Sprints will also use this as a tune up for the 305 Mid-States Championship in late September.
The World of Outlaws Winged Sprints will take over Saturday night lead by Donny Schatz, Joey Saldana, Danny Lasoski, Daryn Pittman, Jason Meyers and Steve Kinser for the $10,000 to win points race that will be the last chance to take to the historic Knoxville track before the $909,000 Knoxville Nationals in Mid-August. The Knoxville Championship Cup Series “360” Winged Sprints will run a complete program as well.
Racing begins each night at 6:45pm. Adults tickets are $25.00 General Admission, $27.00 Reserved. Children 14 and under are half-price.
