Knoxville Drivers Running Strong with American Racer!

by Bill W – As the Midseason Championship approaches at Knoxville Raceway, drivers utilizing tires from American Racer are making some noise. Drivers choosing American Racer are seeing cost savings (see below), and most importantly…SPEED!
Three American Racer feature wins have been turned in at Knoxville, and those drivers have taken advantage of the $200 bonus (see below) that comes from utilizing at least three American Racer tires during their wins. John Schulz won in the 360 class on June 16, while Rager Phillips and Steve Breazeale have swept the 305 features held thus far. Three winners cashed in earlier this season at 34 Raceway in Burlington. Brian Hetrick, Bobby Mincer and Bobby Hawks all won on American Racer in 305 action there. Marty Stephenson banked a win at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, as well.
Despite the new 410 right rear tire rule at Knoxville, some drivers are choosing the cost savings and speed that American Racer provides. Two quick times have already been turned in by Knoxville’s Bronson Maeschen, who utilizes American Racer on three corners. Five drivers have timed in the top three in qualifying.
American Racer drivers have registered 25 top tens at Knoxville to date. Brent Antill, Matt Moro, John Hall, Mike Houseman Jr. and Josh Schneiderman lead the way with three each. Those utilizing American Racer have also garnered 10 top five finishes and 14 heat race wins already this season at Knoxville alone.
The 360 Sprint Invaders Association based in Southeastern Iowa and Illinois, is pleased with its partnership with American Racer and the MC2 right rear tire. Drivers utilizing the tire have taken multiple checkered flags this season with the Invaders. The MC2 is a popular tire that holds the 360 track record at Knoxville, setting the standard twice (Pete Crall and Josh Higday) at last year’s 360 Nationals.

American Racer has been supporting racers in every division for years and now has taken their support to a new level. American Racer will give $200.00 in product certificates to any Feature Winning competitor racing on American Racer Tires on all 4 corners and displaying American Racer decals where rules allow. If a track or sanction has the Spec Rule in effect, competitors will only be required to run American Racers on 3 corners to receive $200.00 in product for a feature win.
