1979 Complete Results, Stories and Points Posted!

(Bill W) Our historical results just gained another year back in time with the addition of 1979. The year can be remembered as one in which Ron Shuman won the 19th Annual Knoxville Nationals, and Randy Smith won the track championship driving the Graham #43 machine. Tim Green was a close second in the running in the Jensen Construction #55. John Stevenson won the most features (4), and 66 cars showed up for the first World of Outlaws spring race won by Sammy Swindell!
