Ricky Weld Finds Ride for Friday's Masters Classic!

The Weld Family is proud to announce they will be represented in the 2008 Master's Classic by retired veteran racer and youngest of the Weld brothers, Ricky Weld. Ricky will drive a 360, owned by Mike Houseman and his two sons. Weekly competitors at the Knoxville Raceway, Mike offered this ride to Ricky, just this week. Ricky and the Houseman Family have been friends throughout 30 years of racing at Knoxville Raceway. Ricky is very honored to represent his family in the 2008 Master's Classic.
Ricky would like to thank all of his friends, fans, and the support of his sponsors throughout the years of this classic event.
In 2006, Ricky drove in the Master's Classic for Jordan Brothers Race Team and it became the most memorable homecoming experience of a lifetime. Because of their effort on and off the track, the Jordan Family and original crew members and friends made this an unforgettable moment that I will hold close to my heart forever. They displayed a courage only a racer could appreciate, uncompromised. God bless all of you very special people.
