National Sprint Car Museum Hosts Special Day of Holiday Shopping Just for Kids

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (November 20, 2008) – The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will host an afternoon of fun and holiday shopping just for children on Saturday, December 6, from 1 until 4 p.m. inside the museum store. The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum invites all kids to come in and shop for specially priced gift items that may be given to family and friends this Holiday Season. Every kid making a purchase will receive a free racing poster, and admission to the museum will be free for children and parents between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m. on that day.

The museum store now has an inventory of over 50 items priced under $10, including a selection of books priced at ten dollars or less, and selected video tapes for five and ten dollars. Plus, the museum store at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum also boasts the largest selection of sprint car merchandise on the planet. Also beginning at one o’clock on Saturday, December 6, there will be free refreshments and, as a special treat, Santa Claus will make his annual appearance at the ‘Sprint Car Capital of the World’.
