Thursday is Last Chance to Purchase Tickets for NSCHoF 2008 Raffle Car
Knoxville, Iowa (December 17, 2008) – Time is rapidly approaching for the drawing of this year’s “Grand Prize” ticket for the 2008 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame (NSCHoF) sprint car raffle. The drawing is scheduled for 10 a.m. this Friday, December 19, at the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum in Knoxville, Iowa. Tickets for the drawing are still available and may be purchased until 6 p.m. Central time on Thursday, December 18, by calling the museum toll free at 1-800-874-4488.
Mike Brooks, president of the non-profit museum's board of directors, will pull the “Grand Prize” winning ticket as well as nine other secondary prize-winning tickets. A video of the raffle will be posted on the museum’s web site, www.sprintcarhof.com, shortly after the actual drawing. This year’s “Grand Prize” winner will receive a new state-of-the-art JEI Performance sprint car with a new 410-cubic-inch engine built by Shaver Specialties.
