Weekly Update - Morgan joins 410s, Moore Jr. in 360s, "Friends of Knoxville" Meet!

(Bill W) As the weather warms up, the blood runs a little quicker, and racing at Knoxville is right around the corner! Several updates this week to pass on. Chris Morgan will be the driver of the Bruce Williams #7K in the 410 class. The Kansas native is a veteran in the sprint car ranks and has been to Knoxville several times, but this will be his first attempt at weekly action. Learn more about Chris by clicking on his name here: Chris Morgan.

Wayne Johnson says he and owner Al Christoffer are committed to running Knoxville on weekly basis in 2009. Wayne will pilot the FattFro #14AJ in the 410 class.

One of the crowd favorites returning to Knoxville this year will be Dennis Moore Jr.! Dennis will pilot Dwight Snodgrass' #20 (number change) this year. The team will mix in six 410 starts at Knoxville (when the 360 class permits) including the Knoxville Nationals.

Cody Petersen from Hermosa, South Dakota also indicated this week that he will return for his sophomore campaign in his own #16P. He has no sponsors, and could really use some as he is towing his car from Dubuque every week!
