Jesse “The Rocket” Hockett First to Enter Knoxville Nationals Events!

(Bill W) April 9, 2009 - An entry for both the 49th Annual SuperClean Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil and the 19th Annual Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals has been received from Warsaw, Missouri’s Jesse “The Rocket” Hockett.

Hockett is known for his versatility in open wheel racing, and has scored victories in his career in 410 sprint cars with and without a wing, 360 sprint cars with and without a wing, and also has found victory in the 305 class. He won this year’s Ronald Laney Memorial “King of the 360’s” at East Bay Raceway in Florida. Last Fall, he took the prestigious Perris Oval Nationals in California against the best in the non-wing business. He is also expected to compete in Knoxville’s 1st Annual USAC Non-wing Nationals on Sunday, August 9.

Over $912,000 will be awarded at this year’s SuperClean Knoxville Nationals presented by Lucas Oil. The biggest event in sprint car racing takes place August 12-15. The Arnold Motor Supply 360 Nationals to be held August 6 through August 8. Over 100 of the best in the 360 business gather every year to kick off Southern Iowa Sprintweek.
